We celebrate Pete’s Birthday

Wow, what a day this is gonna be!  An all day tribute to Pete Seeger, my all time favorite hero – a man of courage and intergrity. And a man who has survived the witch hunters and has had more to do with the peace movement in this country than anyone else.  You can listen live at http://www.wamc.org

  1. Judy Felsten Says:

While I was at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Pete gave a concert in the Fieldhouse. At one point, he said, “I have a very important communication for you,” and reached for his back pocket. Suddenly and unexpectedly there was a HUGE clap of thunder. Everyone at the concert, including Pete, burst out laughing.

Then he pulled a letter from one of the Meved brothers (sons of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg) our of his back pocket and read it to us.
